In this course, students will learn Qi on an experimental level. Students will discover many aspects of this primal power through traditional coordinated movement. How to sense, increase, manipulate, and locate Qi, as well as finding its source, are some of the areas explored in this class. This class will introduce the concepts of energy terms, the principle of energy flowing, and techniques of practices. The class will also introduce the medical application of Qi Gong including strengthening acupuncture meridians and internal organs. The theory of Qi Gong practice is based on Taiji, Yin and Yang, Five Elements and I Ching.

Matt Orischak

Matt earned the title of Lao Shi in 2015 from Wu Tung Nei Jia of D.A.O. With over 26 years of research and practice, he teaches Tai Chi, Qi Gong, Dao Yin, and Meditation, with an emphasis on increasing kinesthetic intelligence, understanding and capability with energetic harmonization and working with energy, and establishing and enhancing transformative practice. After many years of experience with various movement systems, Matt found a profound capacity and ardor for Tai Chi and Qi Gong and is dedicated to sharing the internal practices with any and all who can benefit from their practice.
